Also you can take part of our Flotilla with start and finish in Piombino. On your sail boat charter vacation you will sail past picturesque old towns, uncrowded pristine sandy beaches through bright-blue crystalline waters to beautiful secluded anchorages and relatively unknown bays, coves and islets.

Bareboat Palermo:

Palermo offers the cruising grounds of the Aeolian Islands (7) in north part of Sicily, Malta and Tunisia. Another popular starting ports is Portorosa. Palermo is the capital of Sicily in the province of the same name, and is located on the north western coast of the island in a marvelous inlet by Monte Pellegrino, described as 'The most beautiful promontory in the world', which dominates the western border of the Conca d'Oro laden with oranges and lemons. The city extends along the slope between Monte Pellegrino and Capo Mongerbino. The city then turns inwards and climbs up to Monreale, with its beautiful view. The glorious Conca d'Oro also makes up part of Palermo. The mountains crown the city, the gardens dress it in green, the sea caresses it and the sky covers the city with a blue veil.

Bareboat Palermo Conditions:

During the summer, 8-12 knots winds typically blow from the northwest with local patterns around the islands. There are plenty of sheltered harbors, anchorages, and bays although care must be taken due to tides and underwater rocks.For additional information and route suggestion please look at our online Bareboat Itineraries. Standard charter time is from Saturday afternoon 17:00h with return to port on Friday 16:00h. On return check out will take place and you can stay on board until Saturday morning 09:00h.
